This DIY project shows you how to build a classic cemetery fence from PVC pipes cut into 3-foot sections, connected with elbows and tees, and painted black or gray. Wooden stakes provide stability, and you can arrange the sections to outline a graveyard scene in your yard.
You'll need
Directions
- Take your 1-inch diameter PVC pipes and cut them into 3-foot long segments. These will serve as both the vertical posts and horizontal bars.
- Use sandpaper to gently smooth any rough spots on the freshly cut ends.
- Connect the pipes using PVC elbow and tee connectors, building them into sections that resemble a traditional cemetery fence pattern.
- Apply a coat of black or gray spray paint to every component, giving it an antique finish. Wait until the paint is completely dry.
- Fasten wooden stakes onto the lower end of each vertical post to keep the fence firmly in place.
- Position the assembled sections around your yard to create a spooky graveyard enclosure.
