Give your fall decor a sweet twist by painting pumpkins in soft pastels without any carving. Start with two coats of white chalk paint, then add pastel stems. Finally, personalize them with handwritten sayings using a black Sharpie.

- Apply two coats of white chalk paint to the orange body of each pumpkin, leaving the stems unpainted for now.
- Once the white paint is dry, paint the stems with your chosen pastel colors. If the pastel seems too bright, add a little white paint to soften the shade.
- After the paint has fully dried, lightly sketch your desired sayings onto the pumpkin with a pencil, then trace over the lines with a fine-tipped black Sharpie marker.
