Turkey Pull-Apart Cupcakes

Turn ordinary cupcakes into a festive turkey centerpiece with these playful pull-apart treats!

These turkey pull-apart cupcakes start with 24 baked and cooled cupcakes arranged in a diamond shape. Frost rosettes in chocolate for the body and head, and colorful icings for feathers, then add candy eyes, a piped beak and wattle. Finish with orange icing feet on the board.

Ingredients

24 cupcakes (baked and cooled, using your favorite cake mix)

Chocolate icing

Red icing

Orange icing

Yellow icing

Piping bags

Large star piping tip

Googly eye candies

Directions

Bake 24 cupcakes using your favorite cake mix according to the package instructions. Let them cool completely before decorating.

Once cooled, arrange the cupcakes on a board in a diamond-like turkey shape.

Fill a piping bag with chocolate icing and fit it with a star tip. Pipe a rosette onto the center bottom cupcake for the turkey’s body, and the cupcake above it for the head. For the surrounding cupcakes, use separate piping bags filled with red, orange, and yellow icings to pipe colorful rosettes representing feathers.

Attach googly eye candies to the head cupcake. Use orange icing to pipe a small beak and red icing to pipe a wattle.

With orange icing, pipe two feet on the cake board below the turkey’s body.
