Ingredients

Directions

  1. Set your oven to 300°F.
  2. Cover a baking sheet (at least 15x10x1 inches) with foil, parchment, or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  3. Place 9 cups of popped popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter and 3 tablespoons light corn syrup over low heat.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar and the entire 3 oz package of raspberry, cherry, or strawberry Jell-O until dissolved.
  6. Increase heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  8. Pour the hot syrup immediately over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly—the mixture sets quickly.
  9. Spread the coated popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet, using two forks to break up any clumps.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes.
  11. Right out of the oven, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Wilton Jumbo Bones over the popcorn and press them in lightly with a fork. Let cool completely.
  12. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
