These festive pancakes come in four neon Halloween colors. The batter is divided and tinted with green, orange, black, and purple food coloring. Cook them on a griddle at 250°F for a perfectly fluffy breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then stir in the milk, sour cream, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.
  2. Evenly divide the batter among four bowls. Add neon green food coloring to one, orange to another, black to the third, and purple to the last. Stir each until you reach the desired shade of color.
  3. Warm a griddle over medium-low heat (around 250°F). Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot surface. When bubbles start to appear and pop, flip the pancake. Cook for another minute or until the bottom is golden. Repeat with remaining batter. You'll get about three pancakes per color.
