This Cranberry Jalapeno Dip combines fresh cranberries, jalapeno, and cream cheese for a sweet and spicy flavor. The dip is easy to make and needs at least 4 hours of chilling for best results. Serve with chips or crackers for a festive snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Process about 4 ounces of cranberries in a food processor until roughly chopped. Transfer to a large bowl.
  2. Remove seeds from jalapenos, cut into small chunks, then pulse in the food processor until finely diced. Add to the cranberry bowl.
  3. Finely chop the green onions and cilantro, then add them to the bowl.
  4. Add the sugar, chili powder, and lemon juice to the bowl. Stir everything until fully combined.
  5. Place the mixture in a sealed container and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours to allow flavors to meld. The salsa can be served immediately if necessary.
  6. Serve the dip with crackers, tortilla chips, or cinnamon sugar pita chips. This recipe also works well as a salsa without the cream cheese.
