Using sticky stencils and matte black paint, you can create crisp designs on your pumpkin. Add thumbtacks for detail and a glitter topcoat for extra sparkle. It's an easy, mess-free way to decorate for Halloween.

- Begin by giving your pumpkin a good wash and dry.
- Place the sticky-backed stencil wherever you want the design.
- With a sponge brush, dab the paint onto the stencil using an up-and-down motion (avoid side-to-side strokes, which can blur the edges).
- Let it set for 1 minute, then carefully lift the stencil. Allow the paint on the stencil itself to dry before reusing.
- Keep repeating steps 2-4 until the pumpkin looks the way you want.
- For extra flair, press decorative thumbtacks into the pumpkin around the design.
- For a bit of sparkle, add a second coat of glitter paint over the black using a regular small paint brush.
