DIY Disco Pumpkins

Cover foam pumpkins with mirror tiles using adhesive to create a sparkling disco ball effect, with optional gold paint for the stems.

You'll need

Pumpkins (you can use any foam craft pumpkins, I recommend white ones so the color doesn't show through)

Mirror Tiles (I bought 1 pack and covered all of the pumpkins in the above image)

Gold Acrylic Paint (optional if you want to paint the stems)

E6000 glue or the adhesive that comes on the mirror tiles

Directions

Use scissors to slice a length of mirror tile from the sheet. Because the backing adhesive is extremely strong, be careful not to let the exposed side touch your work surface before you are ready to apply it.

Begin at the very top of the pumpkin and wrap the tile strip around the circumference. Smooth each piece firmly against the surface as you progress to ensure a secure bond.

Keep adding horizontal rows until the entire pumpkin is covered. For any spaces between rows where a full tile cannot fit, trim a custom-sized piece with scissors and press it into the opening.
