Directions
- Start by dyeing all your white items using black tea. Don't dye tulle as the dye won't stick.
- Soak tea bags in hot water, then dip and rinse your fabrics. Let them dry before cutting.
- Cut strips of fabric into random widths for the bandages. Lay them on the t-shirt.
- Pin the strips onto the t-shirt, wrapping some around the front and back.
- Sew the strips down using a tack stitch. Use a safety pin if needed.
- Stitch over the strips on the machine to reinforce the bandages.
- For the pants, remove the elastic and cut the inseam. Wrap the strips around the legs.
- Stitch the strips on top of the pants at the top, both front and back.
- Sew the inseam closed to secure the strips. For the skirt, follow a simple skirt tutorial.
- Layer tulle, fabric strips, and the main skirt fabric for the skirt.
- Stitch the layers together, create a casing, and insert elastic for the waistband.
