Easy Halloween S'mores Recipe

This festive recipe transforms classic s’mores into a Halloween-themed delight. Marshmallows are dipped in layers of colored chocolate, then torched for a toasted finish. Optional candy toppers add extra flair, making them perfect for parties or trick-or-treating.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Lay out a sheet of waxed paper on your work surface.
  2. Pour the graham cracker crumbs into a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Put the black melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat this two more times. Check if the chocolate is smooth and drips easily; if not, heat for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Spear a marshmallow with a fork.
  5. Submerge the marshmallow two-thirds of the way into the black chocolate.
  6. Set the coated marshmallow on the waxed paper and let it dry.
  7. Microwave the purple melting chocolate in a bowl for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each interval, for three rounds. If it isn’t smooth and runny, give it one more 30-second burst.
  8. Place a black-coated marshmallow on a fork, pinching off any dried chocolate puddles at its base.
  9. Dip the marshmallow into the purple chocolate, covering about halfway up from the bottom.
  10. Return it to the waxed paper to dry.
  11. Melt the orange chocolate in the microwave using the same method: 30-second intervals with stirring, until smooth.
  12. Put the black-and-purple marshmallow on a fork and remove any dried chocolate lumps from the bottom.
  13. Dip the marshmallow into the orange chocolate, covering about one-third of the bottom.
  14. Right after that, press the wet orange chocolate base into the graham cracker crumbs.
  15. Place the marshmallow on the waxed paper to set.
  16. Ignite your kitchen torch.
  17. Carefully torch the top of the marshmallow to toast it, being cautious not to set it ablaze. If a flame catches, extinguish it right away.
  18. If using candy toppers, dip the base of each candy into a bit of leftover melted chocolate and stick it on top of the s’more.
  19. Drizzle additional melted chocolate over the top for decoration.
  20. Let the s’mores fully dry and harden.
  21. Serve and enjoy.
