Frankenstein Monster Halloween Cupcakes

Directions

1. Cover your work area with wax paper. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white candy melts and coconut oil together in 30-second bursts until melted. Transfer the mixture to a sandwich bag, snip off a tiny corner, and pipe 12 small smile shapes onto the wax paper. Let them harden.
2. Using an electric mixer, beat the softened butter, icing sugar, and milk on medium speed. Gradually increase to high, add the Kelly green gel food coloring, and continue beating until the buttercream is smooth and evenly green.
3. Fit a piping bag with a large tip and fill it with the green buttercream. Pipe a thick, tall swirl onto each cooled chocolate cupcake, mimicking the shape of a poop emoji.
4. Press two candy eyes onto the front of each frosted cupcake. Break the pretzel sticks into small pieces and insert one piece into each side of the cupcake to resemble Frankenstein's neck bolts.
5. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles over the top of each cupcake. Gently place one of the hardened candy smiles onto the frosting below the eyes. Serve and enjoy your spooky treats!
