Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at kimspireddiy.com.
These Frankenstein Treats transform Snickers candy bars into adorable monsters. You'll coat the bar in green frosting, add candy eyes, and pipe black frosting hair. A toothpick helps create the mouth and scar for a classic monster look.
Ingredients
Directions
- Unwrap a Snickers candy bar completely.
- In a bowl, combine some frosting with a few drops of green food coloring.
- Stir until the color is even, adding more coloring if needed to reach a green that looks like Frankenstein.
- Spread the green frosting on a plate and roll the Snickers bar in it until every side is coated.
- Press candy eyes onto the top of the frosted Snickers bar.
- Mix a small amount of frosting with black icing or black food coloring to make black frosting.
- Spoon the black frosting into a Ziploc bag, then snip off a tiny corner of the bag.
- Pipe the black frosting onto the top of the treat to create hair, using a toothpick to smooth and define the lines.
- Use a toothpick to draw a mouth and a scar onto the face of the treat.
