A simple, no-bake dip that combines warm pumpkin pie spices with thick Greek yogurt and a touch of sweetness. After warming the pumpkin puree with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves, you blend it with yogurt and vanilla until smooth. Chill for an hour to let the flavors meld, then serve as a festive, creamy treat for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place the pumpkin puree in a saucepan and warm it over medium heat. Stir frequently with a spatula until the mixture releases a pleasant aroma, which should take roughly three minutes.
  2. Sprinkle in the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Continue cooking the spiced pumpkin for about one more minute to let the flavors bloom.
  3. Take the pan off the burner and let the pumpkin mixture rest until it is cool enough to handle.
  4. Pour the cooled pumpkin, the Greek yogurt, and the vanilla extract into a blender, food processor, or stand mixer. Blend until the texture is completely smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides with a spatula so no streaks of yogurt or pumpkin remain.
  5. Taste the dip and stir in honey, maple syrup, or your preferred natural sweetener until it reaches your desired level of sweetness.
  6. Spoon the finished dip into a serving bowl or airtight container. Cover it tightly and place it in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour so the flavors can fully develop.
  7. Remove the dip from the fridge, serve it alongside your favorite fall treats, and enjoy!
