This spooky-sweet Halloween candy bark is a snap to make and looks like a party on a plate.
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at delish.com.
This easy Halloween candy bark starts with melted white chocolate, which is divided and tinted with purple, green, and orange food coloring. The colored chocolates are swirled over a base layer, then topped with festive nonpareils and sprinkles. After a quick chill in the fridge, you break it into shards for a treat that's as fun to make as it is to eat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Put the chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water. Stir until fully melted.
- Transfer 3 tablespoons of the melted white chocolate into each of three small bowls. To each bowl, add 5 drops of Flo-Coat Candy Coating and 1 drop of food coloring (one bowl purple, one green, one orange). Stir each until combined.
- Pour the remaining white chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use an offset spatula to spread it to a thickness of 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Drizzle the colored chocolates over the top, then drag a toothpick through them to create swirls. Sprinkle the nonpareils and Halloween sprinkles over the surface.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to let the bark set. Once firm, break it into pieces and serve.
