These Halloween Candy Cupcakes start with a boxed chocolate cake mix, into which you stir chopped candy bars. The cupcakes are topped with a peanut butter-vanilla frosting and a sprinkle of reserved candy pieces for a festive, sweet treat.

- Prepare the chocolate cake batter following the instructions on the box, adding oil, eggs, and water as directed.
- Fold the chopped candy into the prepared batter until evenly distributed.
- Fill cupcake liners with the batter and bake them according to the cake mix package directions.
- While the cupcakes are in the oven, combine the peanut butter with the vanilla frosting and stir until smooth.
- After the cupcakes have cooled, spread the peanut butter frosting on top and garnish with the reserved candy pieces.
