Halloween Door - Keep Out
Turn your door into a spooky warning with this DIY Halloween sign made from cardboard planks and creepy mesh.

Create a 'Keep Out' door sign using a cardboard box cut into planks, painted with drippy letters and silver bolt details. Attach black mesh or spider web to your door first, then mount the planks on top. The mesh peeks through for an eerie effect.
You'll need

- Flatten a large cardboard box, then cut it into plank shapes.
- Use a large paintbrush to write 'KEEP' on one plank and 'OUT' on another. Apply paint heavily, then hold each plank upright and tap it on a hard surface to let excess paint drip down.
- Dip a round sponge applicator into silver paint, then press and twist it onto the ends of each plank to create bolt/nail circles.
- Let all painted pieces dry completely.
- While the paint dries, attach black creepy mesh or white spider web to the outside of your door using tape that matches your door or clear shipping tape.
- Once the planks are dry, attach them over the mesh so the mesh shows through between the boards.
