These Halloween eyeballs are a fun and creepy treat made from a creamy peanut butter and marshmallow dough, rolled into balls, dipped in white chocolate, and decorated with red gel and candy eyes. The recipe yields 36 eyeballs and requires chilling and setting time for the best results.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  2. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition, until a soft and cohesive dough forms.
  3. Shape the dough into 36 evenly sized balls. Arrange them on a tray lined with wax paper and chill in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  4. Melt the white candy wafers according to the instructions on the package. Using a toothpick, spear each chilled peanut butter ball and dip it into the melted white chocolate until fully coated.
  5. Place the coated balls back on the wax paper tray. Use a small dab of melted white chocolate to cover the toothpick hole on each ball. Allow the coating to set completely.
  6. Squeeze a small circle of red sparkle gel onto the top of each ball. Gently press a candy eyeball into the gel.
  7. With a toothpick, drag a thin line of red gel down from the circle to create a bloodshot effect. Let them set fully before storing in a loosely sealed container.
