This two-layer fudge features semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate, each mixed with sweetened condensed milk and microwaved until smooth. The white layer is tinted orange and topped with candy corn before chilling. Once set, slice and serve for a festive Halloween treat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare an 8-inch square pan by lining it with aluminum foil and coating the foil with nonstick spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips with 5 fluid ounces (or 180 grams) of sweetened condensed milk. Microwave at 50% power for 60 seconds, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second bursts, stirring after each, until the mixture is completely smooth. Mix in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. Using an offset spatula, spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set before moving on to the next layer.
  4. In another bowl, combine the white chocolate chips with another 5 fluid ounces (180 grams) of sweetened condensed milk. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, and continue with 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir in the remaining ½ teaspoon vanilla and a few drops of orange gel food coloring. Spread this layer over the chilled chocolate layer with an offset spatula.
  5. While the white layer is still soft, press candy corn pieces into the top in neat rows (or use other sprinkles if preferred).
  6. Refrigerate until fully firm, then cut into squares. Serve at room temperature for best texture.
