This Halloween fudge recipe creates a two-layer fudge using semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. After chilling the first layer, you top it with orange-tinted white fudge and press in candy corn for a festive look. It's easy to make and perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 5 fluid ounces (180g) of sweetened condensed milk. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second increments at 50% power, stirring each time, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan using an offset spatula.
  3. Refrigerate the pan for 10 minutes to let the first layer set.
  4. In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and the remaining 5 fluid ounces (180g) of sweetened condensed milk. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second increments at 50% power, stirring each time, until smooth. Stir in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract and a few drops of orange gel food coloring. Spread this mixture over the chilled first layer using an offset spatula.
  5. Immediately press 24 pieces of candy corn into the top in neat rows (or add more for smaller pieces).
  6. Chill the fudge until firm, then slice and serve at room temperature.
