Create adorable Halloween Ghost Pops by painting details into a mold, sandwiching Oreos in white chocolate coating, and chilling until firm for a fun, festive treat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place a small amount of the black candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl.
- Heat the candy according to the package instructions, taking care to avoid burning it.
- Dip a fresh, clean small paintbrush into the melted black candy.
- Carefully paint the melted candy into the eye and mouth indentations of the ghost molds.
- Repeat the painting process for every ghost mold.
- Melt the white chocolate candy coating, following the label's directions.
- Pour the melted white coating into one ghost cavity until it is about one-third full.
- Gently press an Oreo cookie into the white coating, ensuring it sits flat.
- Spoon additional white coating over the cookie to completely cover it.
- Continue this process for all remaining ghost molds.
- Use the back of a knife to scrape off any extra coating and smooth the surface. Refrigerate the molds for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
- Take the molds out of the fridge and gently flex the silicone to release each ghost.
- Run a sharp knife along the edges of each ghost to trim away any leftover chocolate.
- Use your fingers to smooth out the trimmed edges.
