This Halloween Monster Popcorn recipe transforms stovetop popcorn into a festive treat. After popping and salting, you coat the popcorn with melted Candy Melts and decorate with sprinkles and eyeball sprinkles for a fun, crunchy snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To pop popcorn on the stove with a Whirley-Pop, pour vegetable oil into the pan, add 3 kernels, and heat over medium. Once those kernels pop, add the full cup of popcorn kernels.
  2. Keep turning the Whirley-Pop handle continuously so the popcorn doesn't burn. When popping slows down almost completely, turn off the heat and take the popper off the stove.
  3. Transfer the popcorn to a bowl and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Melt the Candy Melts following the package directions (microwave works well).
  5. Pour the melted candy over the popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Immediately spread the candy-coated popcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with colorful sprinkles and eyeball sprinkles.
  7. Enjoy your spooky treat!
