Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at thekeeperofthecheerios.com.
This guide walks you through wrapping a support beam with white, green, and black streamers to create a mummy and Frankenstein theme. After securing the colorful layers, you will add large glow-in-the-dark eyes, cut black streamer rectangles for stitches, and attach black plastic cups as bolts for the final look.
You'll need
Directions
- Secure the white, green, and black streamers to the top of your chosen support beam using clear tape or a tight knot. Continue wrapping the material around the structure, layering the colors as you go, until you reach the desired coverage. Finish by securing the ends at the base.
- Press the large glow-in-the-dark eyes firmly onto the wrapped surface to create the character's face.
- Cut small rectangular pieces from the leftover black streamers to represent Frankenstein's stitches. Adhere these pieces vertically along the beam with clear tape.
- Attach the black plastic cups to the sides of the beam using tape to mimic the iconic bolts on the neck.
