Turn hot dogs into adorable mummies with refrigerated crescent dough. The strip-wrapped dogs bake until golden, then get mustard faces for a creepy-cute look. Perfect for a Halloween party or snack.
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Open the crescent roll dough sheet and cut it into 4 same-sized rectangles.
- Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice each rectangle lengthwise into 10 strips, giving you 40 strips total.
- Take 4 strips of dough and wind them around each hot dog so they resemble bandages, pulling the dough a little to ensure the hot dog is fully covered.
- For each hot dog, about half an inch from one tip, part the dough so a bit of the hot dog is visible—this will be the face.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on a large, ungreased baking sheet and lightly spritz the dough with cooking spray.
- Bake them for 13 to 17 minutes, until the dough turns a light golden brown and the hot dogs are heated through.
- Use the mustard to create eyes and a mouth on the exposed hot dog face.
