Ingredients
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350°F and line two 12-cup muffin tins with paper liners.
- Mix the cake batter following the instructions on the box.
- Fill the liners and bake for 18–20 minutes. At 18 minutes, test with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, they're done.
- Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let them cool completely.
- Once cool, spread a small amount of frosting on the bottom of a large marshmallow and press it onto a cupcake. Repeat for all cupcakes.
- Put the vanilla frosting in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 10 seconds. Stir until smooth.
- Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the melted frosting over each marshmallow, letting it drip down the sides. Repeat for all.
- Let the frosting set for a few minutes, then use black icing with a round tip to draw two eyes and a mouth on each ghost.
- Store the finished cupcakes in a covered tin or cupcake carrier to keep them safe from little hands.
