Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at hgtv.com.
Create a Halloween party game by decorating cups with black ribbons and ghostly circles, then drawing faces on marshmallows. Kids take turns tossing marshmallows into point-labeled cups, and the one with the most points wins. It’s a simple, fun activity that uses common craft supplies.
Directions
- Download the provided template and print it onto white card stock. Use a circle cutter or scissors to cut out each circle neatly.
- Wrap a narrow black ribbon around each cup, trim the excess, and glue the ribbon in place.
- Add a small dab of glue to the back of each circle and attach it to the cup, covering the ends of the ribbon.
- Draw ghost faces on marshmallows using a food-safe marker. If kids won't eat the game pieces, a permanent marker works too.
- Give each child a fixed number of marshmallows (like 10). Arrange the cups so the ones worth the most points are farthest back.
- Have the children line up one at a time, all at the same distance from the cups, and let them toss the marshmallows into the cups.
- The player with the highest total points wins a prize.
