These spooky pretzel bites are made by dipping mini pretzels in melted white chocolate and adding candy eyeballs. They set in just 10 minutes in the freezer, making them a perfect last-minute Halloween snack. The recipe uses simple ingredients and is easy to customize.
Ingredients
Directions
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Combine the white candy melts with the coconut oil or melted butter in a glass bowl. Heat in the microwave using 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth. If the mixture seems too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil at a time until it reaches the right consistency.
- Take one pretzel at a time and dip it into the melted white chocolate, using a fork to flip it and let extra chocolate drip off. Clear the chocolate from the center hole so it forms an open mouth shape. Place the pretzel on the prepared baking sheet.
- Right away, push two candy eyeballs into the top two holes of the pretzel.
- Continue with the remaining pretzels. Work quickly because the white chocolate sets fast at room temperature. If the chocolate hardens, reheat it in the microwave until smooth again.
- Let the pretzel treats fully harden. For speed, put them in the freezer for exactly 10 minutes. Once firm, remove from the baking sheet and serve.
