Split 9 cups of Rice Chex into two bowls. Create two coatings: one with white chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter, and vanilla; the other with milk chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter, and vanilla. Coat each cereal batch, shake with powdered sugar, then mix together with candy corn.
Ingredients
Directions
- Divide the cereal equally by placing 4.5 cups of Rice Chex into each of two separate bowls. Set them aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, and 1/4 cup of butter. Heat and stir until everything is melted and smooth, then mix in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Take the mixture off the heat and pour it over one bowl of cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Transfer the coated cereal into a gallon-sized bag, add 3/4 cup of powdered sugar, seal, and shake until well coated.
- Repeat the process described in steps 2 and 3 using the milk chocolate chips, the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, then coat the second bowl of cereal and shake with the remaining 3/4 cup of powdered sugar.
- Combine both batches of coated cereal in a large bowl, add the candy corn, and toss to mix thoroughly. Store in an airtight container.
