These Halloween walnuts are easy to make and come in three fun varieties: pumpkins, mummies, and monsters. Simply dip walnut halves in colored candy melts, add simple decorations like M&Ms and candy eyes, and chill until set. Perfect for parties or gifting!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare a plate or baking sheet by lining it with parchment or wax paper, making sure it fits in your fridge.
  2. Place orange candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on 40% power or defrost for 1 minute. Stir well, then continue microwaving in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Dip walnut halves into the melted orange candy, then place them on the prepared paper. While the coating is still wet, press a green M&M onto one end to form a stem. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  4. Melt white candy melts using the same method as step 2. Dip walnut halves into the white coating and set them on the paper. Use a spoon to drizzle extra white chocolate over the walnuts to create bandage-like streaks. While still wet, attach candy eyes. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt green candy melts using the same method. Dip walnut halves into the green coating and place on the paper. While still wet, add candy eyes. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
