A silky chocolate tofu dip serves as the base, topped with cookie crumbs and decorated with piped gravestone cookies and Halloween candies. It's a fun, creepy treat that's surprisingly wholesome, using tofu and dark chocolate for richness without heavy cream.
Ingredients
Directions
- Put the dark chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Place the drained tofu, melted chocolate (reserve about 2 tablespoons for later), vanilla extract, and maple syrup in a food processor. Blend, pausing to scrape down the sides, until the mixture is creamy. Transfer to a serving dish and level the top with a spatula.
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies (discard the cream filling) by placing them in a zip-top bag and rolling with a rolling pin. Evenly spread the crumbs over the dip.
- Pour the reserved 2 tablespoons of melted chocolate into a small zip-top bag. Snip a tiny corner with scissors and pipe messages like RIP or BOO onto the oval oat cookies. Let the chocolate set for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the Halloween pixs and sugar decorations on top of the dip. Serve alongside extra cookies, pretzels, graham crackers, or sliced apples for dipping.
