These Hocus Pocus Halloween pretzels are coated in black candy melts and drizzled with orange, purple, and green. They're topped with pearl sprinkles and gold stars, then brushed with luster powder for a magical finish. A fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place the black candy melts in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then at 70% power for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Transfer the orange, purple, and green melts into separate piping bags, snip off the tips, and set aside. To keep the bags warm, put them in a Wilton melting pot (without the silicone insert) or a baking pan on a heating pad (not the kind for your back). Leave the black candy in the bowl or melting pot.
  2. Coat one pretzel rod at a time with the melted black candy, lightly tapping off the excess. Drizzle orange, purple, and green candy over the pretzel. Tap the side of the pretzel while turning it to spread the colors. If any area lacks color, add more of the missing color and repeat the tapping and turning. Place the pretzel on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  3. While the coating is still wet, sprinkle green pearl sprinkles and edible gold stars onto the pretzel. Repeat with the remaining pretzels. Refrigerate the cookie sheet for about 15 minutes until the candy hardens. Once set, put a small amount of white luster powder into a small bowl and brush it onto the decorated pretzels.
