These instant witch favors are a quick and fun Halloween craft. Fill plastic tubes with a green apple Kool-Aid mix, black pearl sprinkles, dyed candy corn tips, and spooky eyes, then top with a spider ring for a treat that doubles as a decoration.
You'll need
Directions
- Snip the yellow tips off each candy corn.
- Put on disposable gloves. Squeeze a small amount of brown gel food coloring onto a paper towel and roll a few of the candy corn tips in it to dye them.
- Place the dyed tips on wax paper and let them dry completely (overnight works well).
- In a medium bowl, combine the green apple Kool-Aid mix and black sprinkles, stirring until evenly distributed.
- Insert a pretzel gift bag into a plastic tube, leaving enough of the bag sticking out to fit around a small funnel.
- Pour 3 tablespoons of the Kool-Aid mixture into the bag through the funnel.
- Pull the bag out enough to fold the top down twice and staple it. Then slide the bag back down to the bottom of the tube.
- Add 25 black pearl sprinkles, the dyed candy corn tips, and 2 spooky eyes gumballs (or eyeball foil-wrapped chocolates) to the tube.
- Optionally, top the tube with a spider ring.
