- Bake the cupcakes following the instructions on the box mix. Let them cool completely before decorating.
- Mix orange food coloring into the white frosting until you achieve the pumpkin shade you like.
- Spread a thin layer of orange frosting over each cupcake. Insert a half piece of pretzel stick into the top front as a stem, and place a green gummy leaf (made by cutting a green apple gummy in half with scissors and shaping it by hand) next to the stem.
- Use black decorating icing to draw a jack-o'-lantern face on each cupcake.
