You'll need
Directions
- Remove the paper wrappers from your crayons. Using a small exacto knife makes this much faster, but it's not recommended for children.
- Cut each unwrapped crayon in half.
- Glue the crayon halves around the pumpkin using tacky glue. This project used 16 crayons total.
- Allow the glue to dry completely before moving on.
- Place the pumpkin on top of cardboard or a garbage bag to catch any melting drips.
- Use a hair dryer to melt the crayons. Starting on a low setting gives you more control over the direction of the melted wax.
