These bite-sized Halloween treats are made from tortillas and cheese with fun cut-out designs. Choose from ghost, jack-o'-lantern, or mummy shapes, then bake until bubbly. Decorate with googly candy eyes for a festive finish.
Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 400°F.
- Using standard 8-inch tortillas, you'll create two mini quesadillas from each one.
- For a ghost design, cut the tortilla into a ghost shape and punch out two small eye holes plus one mouth hole. Place cheese inside, trimming to fit.
- For Jack-o'-Lantern faces, cut triangle shapes for eyes and a mouth—use a clean craft knife for best results. Add cheese, trimming as needed.
- For a mummy, cut two tortilla circles. On one circle, slice strips with a knife or pizza cutter. Put cheese on the uncut circle, then layer the strips across, leaving space at the top for eyes.
- Arrange the mini quesadillas on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment. Bake until the cheese melts and bubbles, about 8–10 minutes.
- Take them out and let them cool a bit. While the cheese is still warm, press the candy eyes onto the mummy.
