Monster March Halloween Game
Will you risk what you've won for a chance at more prizes in this spine-tingling monster march?
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at playpartyplan.com.
In this Halloween game, players draw a monster character and take turns rolling dice to advance along a prize path. They can stop anytime with their prizes, but matching a partner character gives a strike—two strikes and they lose everything. It's a game of luck and nerve!
Directions
- Each player picks a slip from a bag that has character names written on them.
- Players gather behind or to the side of the prize path, which is marked with tape. One volunteer rolls two dice. If a player's character matches a die result, they step to the first line and take the prize there. If their character matches both dice, they move two lines forward and claim prizes from both lines.
- Before every dice roll, players choose to either continue playing for more prizes or exit with what they've collected. In later rounds, additional outcomes: matching one die advances one line, matching both advances two lines, and rolling your character's partner (vampire/bat, witch/cat, Headless Horseman/pumpkin) gives you a strike.
- Upon receiving a second strike, a player is eliminated and must give back all prizes they won that round.
