Directions
- Make or obtain templates for the creature parts you want, such as a cat, owl, pirate hat, bones, or spider legs.
- Print the templates with the page set to landscape orientation and scale them up to 121% so they fill the page properly.
- Cut the pieces out of felt, keeping track of how many of each shape you need.
- For items that will be inserted into the pumpkin like hats or bones, cut only one front-facing piece instead of two pieces with a toothpick in between.
- For spider legs, cut three legs, then cut a mirrored set of three legs for the opposite side.
- Affix the felt pieces to the raw pumpkins by sticking or securing them in place.
- Enhance the eyes with white paint or other material to give them depth.
