Create a monster face on your house using foam board, paint, and screws. Then build a graveyard scene with a wheelbarrow full of dirt, skeleton pieces, and an old shovel. Both projects are easy and budget-friendly.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Sketch the monster's teeth and eyes onto the 1-foot foam board.
  2. Use a hand saw's blade to carefully cut out the sketched design.
  3. Coat the entire piece with flat white paint.
  4. Paint the outlines of the eyes and teeth using acrylic paint.
  5. Attach the pieces to the house with longer screws, and for the teeth, add a board across the back to keep them snug against the wall.
  6. For the second decoration, fill an old wheelbarrow with dirt.
  7. Place skeleton parts into the dirt and rest an old shovel against the wheelbarrow.
