This Halloween recipe turns six teacakes into spooky eyeball delights using giant white chocolate buttons, Smarties, and colored writing icing. The process involves decorating the chocolate buttons with red icing to resemble veins, attaching a Smartie as the iris, and adding a black dot for the pupil. Each decorated button is then secured to a teacake with icing, creating a fun and festive treat perfect for any spooky gathering.
Ingredients
Directions
- Squeeze the red icing tube to create squiggly lines that look like blood vessels across the surface of one white chocolate button.
- Press a Smartie onto the center of the button. If it won't stay put, use a tiny dot of the red icing to secure it. Then, use the black icing to draw a small circle in the middle of the Smartie to form the pupil.
- Continue this process until all six chocolate buttons have been transformed into eyeballs.
- Remove the wrappers from the teacakes. Apply a small amount of writing icing to the bottom of each eyeball and press it firmly onto the top of a teacake.
- Arrange the finished treats on a serving dish and share them with your guests!
