Give your Halloween table a unique twist by transforming craft pumpkins into faux stone vessels. One pumpkin holds a small flower pot, the other a battery candle, both decorated with doodles. This project uses Krylon Make It Stone spray paint and paint pens for a chic, textured look.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Use the flower pot as a guide to mark the size of the opening on top of one pumpkin. Cut straight down so the pot can slide in. For the other pumpkin, cut a hole just big enough for the battery-powered candle. Then carve any patterns you like into the pumpkins.
  2. Apply Krylon Make It Stone spray paint to the pumpkins. Let each coat dry fully before adding the next.
  3. Once the paint is dry, use paint pens to draw designs on the pumpkins.
  4. Place your plant into the flower pot pumpkin and the candle into the other pumpkin. Arrange them on your table as a centerpiece.
