These easy white chocolate ghosts combine three types of white chocolate with salted and unsalted peanuts for a crunchy, sweet snack. After melting everything in a slow cooker, you shape small mounds, add googly eyes and chocolate chip mouths, then let them set. Perfect for gifting or sharing at Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare 3 baking sheets by covering them with parchment paper.
  2. In a slow cooker that holds at least 5 quarts, combine the white melting chocolate, white sweet baking chocolate, and white chocolate chips. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 to 2 hours, stirring every now and then, and keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  3. Once the chocolates have fully softened and melted, stir them together until smooth.
  4. Pour all the peanuts into the slow cooker and mix well. Replace the lid and switch the setting to Warm, or simply turn off the slow cooker but leave the crock in the base to stay warm.
  5. Using an ice cream scoop or a tablespoon—depending on your preferred ghost size—drop small mounds onto the parchment. You can gently shape them to look like ghosts.
  6. Press candy googly eyes onto each ghost, and place an upside-down semi-sweet chocolate chip to form a howling mouth.
  7. After you've scooped all the mixture, rinse the crock with hot water.
  8. Let the candies cool and set for about an hour. Once firm, move them to an airtight container. They'll stay fresh for roughly a week—perfect for trick-or-treaters or Halloween party favors.
