You'll need
Directions
- Apply a fast layer of paint onto the wooden blocks.
- As the paint dries, cut vinyl strips to match the blocks' height. Determine which vinyl color or pattern will go on each block.
- Cut each strip to the exact width of its block, then position them on the cutting mat.
- Launch Cricut Design Space and open the design file. If your blocks match the original size, simply remove the background boxes behind the text. If not, adjust the boxes to serve as size guides, resize the text accordingly, then delete the boxes. Send the design to the cutter, ensuring you select 'Metallic Vinyl' as the material.
- Take the cut pieces off the mat, weed out the unwanted vinyl, and apply transfer tape to lift the designs. Carefully place them onto the correct painted blocks.
- Gently remove the transfer tape to reveal the vinyl on the blocks.
