Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F and put parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into thin strips with a pizza cutter.
  3. Wind the strips around each mini hot dog like mummy bandages, leaving a small space for the face.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the dough turns golden and puffy.
  5. Add eyes with a dab of mustard and a few black sesame seeds, then serve warm.
  6. Use mini cookie cutters or a small knife to cut pumpkin shapes from cheddar slices.
  7. Set each cheese pumpkin on a cracker and press gently to make it stick.
  8. Make faces with tiny bits of sliced black olives for eyes and mouths.
  9. Break pretzel sticks into short stems and place one at the top of each pumpkin.
  10. If you're transporting them, secure each bite with a toothpick.
  11. Heat the oven to 400°F and put English muffin halves on a baking sheet.
  12. Spread each muffin with pizza sauce and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
  13. Add a few pepperoni slices and some black olives for a spooky color pop.
  14. Bake 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  15. Just before serving, top each mini pizza with an upside-down mini ice cream cone to look like a witch hat.
  16. Cut black licorice laces into short pieces to form spider legs.
  17. Use a paring knife to make tiny slits in each olive and tuck in the licorice legs.
  18. Thread a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, and the spider olive onto a bamboo skewer.
  19. Repeat until you have a full batch and chill until serving.
  20. Boil eggs until hard-cooked, cool them in ice water, and peel.
  21. Slice eggs in half using an egg slicer or knife and put the yolks in a bowl.
  22. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon, paprika, and orange food coloring to get a pumpkin shade.
  23. Spoon the filling into a piping bag and pipe rounded mounds into the egg whites.
  24. Press a few pieces of chives into the top of each mound as a little pumpkin stem.
  25. Freeze string cheese for 30 minutes so it doesn't melt too fast when cooking.
  26. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs mixed with garlic powder.
  27. Dip each cheese stick in flour, then egg, then crumbs, pressing firmly for a thick coating.
  28. Cook in an air fryer at 390°F for 6–8 minutes until golden and crisp.
  29. Serve with marinara in mini portion cups for dipping.
  30. Arrange mini phyllo shells on a platter so they're ready to fill.
  31. Spoon guacamole into a piping bag and pipe into each shell for a neat look.
  32. Add eyes with black olive slices and sprinkle shredded cheddar around the edges like fuzzy monster hair.
  33. Use a paring knife to cut tiny triangles of red pepper for tongues or spooky smiles.
  34. Prep fruit on a cutting board using a chef knife, keeping pieces fairly chunky so they stay on the skewer.
  35. Toss banana slices with lemon juice so they don't brown.
  36. Thread each bamboo skewer with pineapple, mandarin, and banana to create candy-corn stripes.
  37. Chill until serving so the skewers stay fresh and crisp.
  38. Line a tray with parchment paper so dipped pretzels set easily.
  39. Melt green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring with a small spatula until smooth.
  40. Dip each pretzel rod into the coating, letting excess drip off, then lay on parchment.
  41. Press a slivered almond onto the tip as a nail while the coating is still wet.
  42. Add a little blood detail at the nail line with red gel icing, then let set fully before serving.
  43. Heat the oven to 375°F and place flour tortillas on a cutting board.
  44. Use a pizza cutter to cut triangles, then snip little curves into the sides to resemble bat wings.
  45. Lay chips on baking sheets, spritz with olive oil spray, and bake 8–10 minutes, flipping once.
  46. Stir lime juice into black bean dip for brightness and spoon into small bowls.
  47. Add salsa in another bowl and serve with the bat chips once cooled.
