This recipe guides you through creating three distinct colors of coated popcorn using butterless microwave popcorn and Wilton candy melts. Each batch is decorated with Halloween sprinkles, M&M's Ghoul's Mix, and candy eyeballs before cooling and combining for a festive snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, split the popped popcorn into three equal portions and place each into a separate bowl. Line a large baking tray with parchment or wax paper and set it nearby.
  2. Next, divide the contents of each candy melt bag into three smaller bowls. Melt one portion at a time in the microwave, following the manufacturer's instructions. Once smooth, drizzle the melted candy over one bowl of popcorn and toss gently until every piece is coated.
  3. Transfer the coated popcorn to the lined tray, spreading it out to create space for the next color. Sprinkle on a third of the Halloween sprinkles, a third of the M&M's Ghoul's Mix, and a third of both the small and large candy eyeballs. Repeat this coating and decorating process for the remaining two colors of candy melts and their corresponding popcorn portions.
  4. Let the popcorn cool completely on the tray to ensure the different colored coatings harden without blending. Once firm, break the popcorn into bite-sized pieces and combine all three colors in a large serving bowl. Adjust the chunk size to your preference before serving. Keep any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
