This DIY project transforms a glass jar into an eerie candlelit lantern using glass frosting spray and a cutout stencil. After applying the frosting and letting it dry, you peel off the stencil to reveal a clear design, then add a votive candle for a haunting glow. Perfect for setting a spooky mood on Halloween.

- Lay your chosen shape on a piece of contact paper, trace around it, then carefully cut out the traced shape, preserving all the small details.
- Peel the backing off the contact paper and stick the shape onto your glass jar, smoothing out any air bubbles or creases.
- Cover the jar's rim with masking tape and also tape across the top opening to prevent frosting spray from entering the jar.
- In a space with good airflow, apply a thin, even layer of glass frosting spray to the entire jar.
- Allow the frosting to dry for roughly 20 minutes.
- Gently remove the contact paper shape from the jar, revealing the clear glass beneath.
- Add a small amount of kitty litter, sand, or sea salt to the bottom of the jar to hold the candle.
- Place a votive candle inside the jar and enjoy your spooky glow.
