DIY Glitter Pumpkins

Transform foam pumpkins into sparkly decorations by coating them with Mod Podge and extra fine glitter. The process requires only a few materials and a day of drying time. You can customize colors or add seals for a lasting finish.

- Gather foam craft pumpkins. Any variety works, but for gold or light glitter shades, a white or pale pumpkin is best. Dark pumpkins can be spray-painted a lighter hue beforehand to make the glitter pop.
- Using a foam brush, apply a generous layer of Mod Podge to the entire pumpkin surface—go thicker rather than thinner.
- Coat the pumpkin completely with extra fine glitter for a brilliant shimmer.
- Allow the pumpkin to dry for approximately 24 hours. Optionally, seal the glitter with another Mod Podge layer or add a second glitter coat for extra coverage.
