You'll need
Directions
- Open Silhouette Studio and import the spider web design from the Silhouette Design Store. Lay the poncho flat to gauge the desired size of the web, then resize the design accordingly in the software.
- Configure the cut settings for smooth heat transfer vinyl and send the design to the Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut.
- Remove all excess vinyl from the cut design (weeding), leaving only the spider web pattern.
- Position the weeded design on the poncho with the plastic backing facing up. Use a hot, dry iron to press the design in 30-second intervals, checking adhesion frequently. Once fully adhered, gently peel off the plastic backing.
- Back in Silhouette Studio, resize the spider web motif to about 2 inches wide. Enable registration marks in the page setup and ensure the design stays within them. Print the design onto Silhouette Tattoo paper.
- Reload the printed tattoo paper into the Cameo, adjust the cut settings for tattoo paper, and send it to the machine to cut out the small webs.
- Attach a plastic spider to a headband using a hot glue gun to create the headpiece.
- Apply the tattoo paper spider webs to your face by pressing them with a wet paper towel, following the instructions on the tattoo paper.
