This recipe guides you through creating adorable banana ghost pops using white chocolate, candy eyeballs, and bamboo skewers. By freezing banana chunks, melting white chocolate, and assembling the treats quickly, you can produce festive Halloween snacks that are both visually appealing and delicious.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Slice the bananas into 3cm pieces.
  2. Arrange the banana chunks on a plate or tray and freeze them for 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Crush the white chocolate into small bits and transfer them to a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Heat the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each burst until it becomes smooth and fully melted. Avoid overheating to prevent scorching.
  5. Take the frozen banana pieces out of the freezer and insert a bamboo skewer into each one.
  6. Quickly dip the upper portion of each banana into the melted chocolate, shake off any extra, and press two candy eyeballs onto the chocolate to form a ghost face.
  7. Place the pops upright to dry. A cake pop stand works well, but you can also use a cardboard or egg carton with holes poked in the top using an extra skewer.
  8. Allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
