These easy Frankenstein milkshakes start with a chocolate drip around the glass and a marker face. Then you blend mint chip ice cream with milk and a touch of green food coloring. Pour into the decorated glasses and enjoy a spooky treat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat the ¼ cup dark chocolate wafers in a microwave at half power, stirring occasionally, until completely smooth. (Substitute chocolate chips or fudge if you like.)
- Transfer the melted chocolate into a plastic bag, snip a small corner, and pipe it around the rim of a glass. Vary the pressure to create uneven drips.
- Once the chocolate has set, use a black permanent marker to add a face—eyes and a mouth—on the glass.
- In a blender, combine the mint chip ice cream and milk, then blend until creamy. Stir in green food coloring one drop at a time until you achieve your preferred green hue. Pour the shake into the decorated glasses and serve with a straw.
