These easy Halloween cookies start with a buttery almond sugar cookie, baked and then dipped in white chocolate. A quick fake blood made from leftover white chocolate and red food coloring is splattered on top for a gruesome effect. Perfect for a creepy treat that’s both delicious and fun to make.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Then mix in the almond flour, almond extract, and eggs to form a sugar cookie dough.
- Shape the dough into balls, place on the prepared sheet, and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Let the cookies cool completely.
- Dip each cooled cookie into melted white chocolate, then set aside for 5 to 10 minutes so the coating hardens.
- Mix a drop of red food coloring into the remaining melted white chocolate to create fake blood. Drizzle or splatter this unevenly over the cookies before serving.
