These easy mini donut spiders are a fun Halloween treat that kids can help make. Simply cut pretzel twists into legs, push them into donuts, and add chocolate and M&M eyes for a spooky snack.

Ingredients

large pretzel twists
mini donuts
M&Ms
a little frosting or chocolate (I always have chocolate chips on hand, so that's what I used)

Directions

Take a large pretzel twist and, using a sharp knife, slice off both curved sides so you have eight straight-ish pieces.
Gently insert eight of those pretzel curves into the top of a mini donut to create legs. Push slowly to avoid breaking the pretzels.
Melt a bit of chocolate (or use frosting) in a sandwich bag, snip off a tiny corner, and pipe a small dot onto the donut. Press two M&Ms into the dot to form eyes.
